No, this is not the infamous 1931 James Whale version of Frankenstein, this is going by roughly what I pictured him to be from the BOOK by Mary Shelley.
"Beautiful!--Great God! His yellow skin scarely covered the work of muscles and arteries beneath; his hair was of a lustrous black, and flowing; his teeth of a pearly whiteness; but these luxuriances only formed a more horrid contrast in his watery eyes, that seemed almost of the same colour as the dun white sockets in which they were set, his shriveled countenance and straight black lips." pg 60, --Mary Shelley
Eh, okay, now that I just typed and read that, the picture seems VERY off... Well, I got the long hair part... Anyway, you get the idea.

"It's hard to be an ornithologist and walk through a wood when all around you the world is shouting: 'Bugger off, this is my bush! Aargh, the nest thief! Have sex with me, I can make my chest big and red!' " -Terry Pratchett
Thanks! Yes, I too am very disappointed to see so many people contaminated by the movies and not even taking a glance at the book which is a masterpiece. Okay, I'll get off my soap box now... But, love that novel.
haha, I totally agree! It sorta makes me cringe every time I see that green guy with bolts in his neck XD
Although, to be fair, alot of my anger at the Boris Karloff version was assuaged when I saw the sequel, Bride of Frankenstein. It didn't follow the book at all, but it didn't completely disregard it either. Kinda kept the tone of the novel better....

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
