How strange it is, that the more efficient you try to become, the more you get done ahead of time in order to make peace and rest , the more you have piled on top of you with increasing speed. It's almost barely worth the effort to try to make things easier, because it will only retaliate and try all the more to conquer you in the end.

And, of course, while that is bad enough--sometimes an old problem that has been "dormant" for some time decides to awake and take control again. Can't shove things under a blanket forever.

So much is always unexpected.
